Use for dried out bread?

I have over half a loaf of bread (sliced store-bought.not from a bakery, just regular bread) and it's starting to dry outWhat can I do with it? It's too dry to use to make sandwichesI was going to make cinnamon french toast, but do you have any other ideas?

BREAKFAST BAKE WITH LEFTOVER BREAD Ideal for holiday breakfast10 slices buttered bread, cubed (crust removed) 3 cmilk 1 dozeggs 1 tspdry mustard 6 green onions with 3 of tops left on (thinly sliced) 4 ozcan mushrooms, diced 1 1/2 lbssausage, fried drained 8 ozCheddar cheese, grated 1/2 tspCheyenne pepper Mix all ingredients together except sausage and cheese and store in refrigerator overnight(Store cooked sausage separately.) In the morning put sausage and cheese into egg mixture and put all into a 9x13 inch greased baking dishBake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40 minutesServes 12(For lower cholesterol version, use Egg Beaters and low fat Cheddar cheese.) HAM AND CHEESE STRATA 12 slices white bread 2 c(1/2 lb.) shredded cheddar cheese 6 thin slices boiled ham or left over ham 4 eggs, well beaten 2 1/2 cmilk 3/4 tspsalt 1/8 tsppepper 1/2 tspprepared mustard 2 tspinstant minced onion 1/2 tspWorcestershire sauce Arrange half of the bread slices in bottom of greased, shallow baking dish, cutting slices to fit (crusts removed)Sprinkle cheese over bread and top with hamPlace remaining bread slices on top of hamCombine eggs, milk, salt and pepper, mustard, onion and Worcestershire sauce in a bowlPour mixture over bread slicesCover with aluminum foilChill several hours or overnightHeat oven to 350 degreesBake one hour or until a knife inserted in center comes out cleanServes 6Bake in a 2 quart baking dish.
