im doing a packet in science for modern atomic theory.what i dont understand is, how to calculate valence electrons.all that they have in the packet is valence electrons are the outer energy level of an atom.and they have a ex.Exall atoms with on valence electron behave in a similar wayplease i need help finding how many valence electrons have in nitrogen and aluminum.please and thank you
