Question:

Valid Defense in traffic court?Stop sign Violation?

I got pulled for for doing a 'rolling' stop through a stop sign I had a few questions, first off it was around 11:30 pm so its very dark, the stop sign is way off to the right side of the road, to the right of a large sidewalk (SW), also the stop sign is wooden with no reflective material on its face, which can be hard to see at 11:30 at night. The stop sign is probally 10 ft to the right of the street. I was wondering do stop signs have to have reflective material on them and also do the distance from the road matter? I am also not from where I got the ticket, would it be worth it to drive almost an hour to get to the court, do you think I stand a chance or just pay the ticket over mail?

Answer:

While I am all for safety, sticking a metal safety lock down a barrel of a gun is not a good idea. First off, it might scratch up the inside of the barrel. But worse than that, when you put two dis-similar metals next to each other and add some moisture you get corrosion. That might be the problem, the cable or barrel is corroded and they are locked together. With a 22 quite often the lock cable is just about the same size as the bore so you got zilch room for anything else, such as rust or foreign material.I would field strip the gun as much as possible then put a lot of WD40 or other light oil down the barrel and let it soak over night. Hopefully there is just a little rust holding it all in place and it will break loose with some lube. If you do get that cable lock out of there, do NOT use that kind again. Get a simple trigger lock with does not go inside the gun. If it is a flex cable you might try locking the end you can get to in a pair of snap grip pliers. Since you say you can not reach it from the front of the barrel you will have to do it from the receiver side. In that case, you will want to rotate the cable OPPOSITE the twist of the rifling. (If from the receiver the rifling otates clockwise you will want to twist the cable counter-clockwise) As you twist the cable, gently pull. Do not force anything.
Try pushing the other direction, away from the end where the lock was.
The sign of the mist in the dry wall is most detecting method .Where it show mist above that section ,you should check the feature .It can be valve or flex pipe ,also most leak in toilet it happen in bad wax installation .If wax doesn't seal under the bowl ,water can run trough the cut section under the bowl and from there to ceiling and the wall .
I really don't know the answer to your question, but the answer about UTI might have something there. Call your vet. I did want to share a story, Last year we adopted a Boston Terrier, she was young but once she reached puberty she would lift her leg and pretend to pee on my foot, this was when she was at the humping stage and trying to establish dominance, she did train very easily not to do this and she only does it now when she is really playing hard with the other two dogs and excited. We did get a lot of laughs from the pretend whizzes.
