Had this alarm system professional installed. When I first tested the remote start it worked, but I didn‘t know how to turn the remote start off. After fidgeting with it, I set the car alarm off while it was still remotely started (I dont know if this affects it). Long story short, I remote started the car, did something (maybe fried the brain from trying to turn off the remote start?), and now the remote start does not work. I just get a remote start error on my keychain. No parking light flashes or anything. Anyone know what‘s up?

I agree with Chris and Easygoing.I use my front brake much more than the rear one.And no offense Roger but you better go take a riding course.Your going to kill yourself if you ever have to stop in an emergency situation. The front brake provides about 80% of your stopping ability.
Its up to the individual rider mostly I always used a combination of the gears by downshifting and the rear brake. I was careful with the front one because front wheel disc is great but if you slam it on too hard it can lock and turn to the side the disc is on and then you get instantly dumped on your face. And rain its best to be light on the front brake period. Your best bet is not to use a front brake going into a corner too hard but try to use it when the bike is straight. If you practice using front and rear brake the bike can stop exceedingly quickly. this is a safety factor for you. By downshifting gears you are always in the correct gear for your speed and once stopped at a light ready to take off any time. There are crazy people out there unfortunately who will try to run you off the road on purpose. So always be aware of your surroundings and try not to cut someone off it works out a lot better that way.
LEARN TO USE THE FRONT BRAKE I very rarely use the rear brake BECAUSE. the front brake is 100% of your stopping power in an emergency stop you need to be able to grab a handful of front brake know how hard to squeeze without locking the front wheel so practice this all the time you should be changing down gears as you slow down so that you are always in the correct gear for the speed the bike is doing so if your riding along at 40MPH in 4th gear you need to slow down. its clutch in down a gear front brake on clutch in down a gear. slow some more clutch in down a gear keep doing this until you stop with the front brake on the clutch in the bike in 1st gear. You can use the rear brake as well. but learning to use the front is most important hope this helps
A very important part of a professional installation is a professional demonstration when it's done. If you leave the shop not knowing how to use your alarm, the installer hasn't done his job. Take it back and ask for a demo. It's very unlikely that you've damaged anything. It sounds like a hood switch or kill switch might be open, or the alarm may need re-programming.
