Can you use Wax Paper in the oven? or is that a no no?
Do not put wax paper! It will burn and smoke! You can use it in the microwave, the wax paper can function as a splatter cover in microwave cookingBecause the paper is mostly unaffected by microwaves, it will not heat to the point of combustion under normal usageThis makes wax paper more functional than plastic wrap which will melt at lower temperatures, or aluminium foil (or tin foil) which is not safe for use in microwave ovens I hope that helps!
