Hey so i need to know some ways to smoke without any papers, or something i can use as a substitute for papers, and soon, help??
If you're talking Fahrenheit I would say NO! If Celsius, it dependsI always say if the horse is cood behind the ears, blanketBut it dependsIf raining:light waterproof blanketIf just cold: don't blanket unless shivering or the horse is too skinnyIf hailing: provide shelterBottom line: if shivering, blanket
She just needs a wind break and lots of hay to keep warmAs long as you haven't shaved off her fur or she has some problem with her coat (like going bald or being a foal) her natural fur will keep her plenty warmAccess to hay is the 1 thing a horse needs to stay warmThe fermentation in the cecum creates heatThat's why they are known as hay burners.
I deal with -30 degrees in the winter without blanketsI have them, but I hardly ever use themAs long as she's dry, can get out of the wind and has her coat, she'll be fineI always think about 5am in the morning and feed extra hay to keep the engines going.
It's probably better that you get her a blanket when it gets that cold, but if not, you have to at least have a shelter for her to stay in when it's that cold so she doesn't have to be outside in the weather the entire time, as that definitely would not be goodI recommend a blanket, but all you really need to keep her safe from any health problems or just like freezing, LOL, if to have an enclosed area, like a shed, that she can access.
