we have microwave ovens- is it not possible tohave microwave central heating boilers?

Answer:

Microwave Water Boiler
To take advantage of the rapid heating, you could use it to create a hot water heater for a home. Someone already patented that, though.
Sure can, most cans have instructions for microwaves, but if you are making soup from scratch like I do, grab your instruction booklet cause it has lots of info like what setting to use and for how long etc., but once you get used to it you will know just by instinct, soups are sooo yummy and good for you to, I love making vege soup, pumpkin and potato soup and caulieflower and brocolli soup yummy!! Now you've made me hungry lol!
It is possible, but it is very inefficient. Much power would be wasted using microwave generators to heat water. Using fossil fuel burners (coal, oil, gas) is still the most efficient way of heating large quantities of water. .
Well, yes… but just because something is possible doesn’t mean it is desirable. A microwave oven takes electricity from the power line and converts it to microwave energy with much less than 100% efficiency. Those microwaves then heat water molecules in the food. This works for some types of food cooking, but it hasn’t replaced stove-top pots and pans or conventional (heated air) ovens because microwaves don’t cook certain foods (like steaks, chops, hamburgers and cakes) very well or at all. The only reason I use a microwave is for convenience, not because it is a “better” way to heat food or boil water. I brew my iced-tea in a microwave oven by placing three tea bags in a Pyrex measuring cup, adding about one and a half cups of water, and nuking it for three minutes and forty seconds. I could just as well boil water on my natural gas stove and pour the boiling water over the tea bags. Or boil the water in the microwave and pour it over the tea bags. Some say boiling the water first and pouring it over the tea is the only “proper” way to brew tea, but my method of tea+water+microwave works for me and requires less effort. So, what is gained by using microwaves to heat water in a central heating system water “boiler” instead of using coal, oil, natural gas, or electricity? The electricity the power company delivers is 100% efficient in converting electrical energy into heat. If you immerse an electrical resistance heating element in water, ALL the electrical energy you pay for is converted into heating the water. With microwaves, some electrical energy is wasted as heat generated in the magnetron and high-voltage transformer, unless these components are immersed in the water being heated. About the only “advantage” I can see is that the speed of energy transfer, from electrical energy to heat energy of the water, might be a little bit faster. However, how fast water heats up is not usually a problem with a central heating system.
