Taking my truck to the muffler shop to install a new exhaust systemAll the tubing is 409 stainless steel, but the muffler is a flowmaster, and flowmasters are aluminumIm assuming they are going to weld everything together, but is it possible to weld aluminum to stainless steel.

I would get rid of that flowmaster and get an all stainless mufflerI believe borla offers this (my favorite) and you can then weld it with a stainless wire so you don't have to worry about the mild steel wire rusting like a tradition exhaust would.
