Last year we had a really bad snowfall and my dad went looking for snow chains but couldn't find any. this year we are having the same signs as last year for a harsh winter, so we have our little supply of grit and my dad is looking for snow chains. i have looked on the internet and all i can find is buy online or go some were in Scotland even Ireland! we live in North wales and we have some very steep hills so he wants some snow chains. when he was a little boy he could go to the local shop and buy some, but now its like finding a needle in a hay stack! any advise on were to get some or even a web sight to look at. he wants to be able to drive there in 2-3 hours to make sure they fit his car. Many Thanks
Why would a teen with Asperger's syndrome have such difficulty pulling a fire alarm? It's not that complicated or dangerous. People with Asperger's syndrome are not stupid and do not need to be treated like babies. Asperger's syndrome primarily affects the person's social skills and social skills are not required to pull a fire alarm, so why would you assume this teen couldn't pull the fire alarm on their own without your help? In a fire, whoever reaches the fire alarm first should pull it. You don't wait while you debate about who should pull it or how while there are people inside a burning building. If the teen gets there first, they should pull it. If you get there first, you should pull it. If the pull doesn't work to set off the alarm, you run to the next one if that's not too dangerous.
No. You wouldn't pass a code inspection though. If you were to try and sell your house, you may have to add them. With today's building codes you not only have to have them on every floor, but they must also be in every bedroom and be interconnected so when one goes off, they all go off.
I would pull the alarm because it's an emergency. And FYI, aspies aren't dumb. I am one and I have a friend who is one.
