Hello I've looked at numerous benchmarks and prices and found that AMD has nothing anywhere near the performance of the 2600K for a decent price, what's the deal? Surely AMD has to have something that can compare to the 2600K for under 300.. right?
Conclusion, even Intel is having trouble to defeat 2600K with something 1000USD, then how can AMD do so with only 400-500USD? For now, just for now, i7 2600K dominate anything with its price/performance. Maybe when Bulldozer get out, things will be brighter for AMD.
Yes you are right..currently Amd has nothing great to answer back the sandy bridges..Phenom ii x6 1100T is the only strongest cpu among its siblings.But yes it not $300 processor..thats where it has the strong point.Wait until the 8 core bulldozer comes out,i'm sure it can atleast match the i7 2600
