Answer:

You can make very oversized hard candy in wrappers candy canes chocolate bars using the following: round styrofoam discs (in white about 1 - 2 thick); candy cane shaped styrofoam 7/8 or 1 wide red ribbon (the kind you'll find in craft stores in the Christmas section.for cheap) and clear cellophane wrap Thick cardboard (to create chocolate bar) Craft paper to use as wrappers pins scotch tape aluminum foil glue gun Instructions: Using round styrofoam disc: use red ribbon and wrap it so that it looks like a peppermint candy (like the kind available in restaurants)Wrap with clear cellophane and tie the ends with ribbon Candy cane, just use ribbon and wrap around the cane so that it'll look like a candy cane Cardboard: cut it in a shape of an oversized chocolate barWrap with foil, then use some type of brown or bright paper to use an outer wrap for the candy bar Create a few of these, then cluster them together (i.e.: 2 hard candy w/1 candy caneAnother cluster is one hard candy w/2 chocolate bars; another cluster: 1 hard candy; 1 candy cane 1 chocolate bar.basically, vary how you'll create the clusters of candy to make Candy Cane Lane) Gumdrops.hmmmMaybe cardboard, cut in shapes of gumdrops, painted brightly and sprinkle glue clear glitter for sparkle (or for 3D, consider styrofoam shaved into shapes of gumdrops) Gingerbread men: Cut out of cardboard and use caulking to decorate gingerbread (like icing)I did this as an art project.it turned out really neat! Hope this info helps you out! Good luck on your project! It's best to do this as a group project (plus it makes it that much more fun!)
