What are the advantages of copper wire galvanizing?
Zinc is soluble in acid and soluble in alkali. So it is called amphoteric metal. Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In the humid air, basic zinc carbonate, zinc surface will generate dense membrane. In the sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and marine atmosphere, the corrosion resistance of zinc is poor, especially in the high temperature, high humidity and acid atmosphere, the zinc coating is easy to corrode. The standard electrode potential of zinc is -0.76V. For steel substrate, zinc coating belongs to anodic coating. It is mainly used to prevent the corrosion of steel, and its protection performance is closely related to the thickness of coating. The passivation and coating of zinc coating can improve its protection and decoration.
Zinc plating refers to the surface of metal, alloy or other materials coated with zinc, in order to play the role of beauty, rust prevention and other surface treatment technology. The main method used is hot-dip galvanizing.
After galvanizing, the contact resistance is small and makes it difficult to oxidize.
