What are the diaphragm materials for the diaphragm pressure gauge?

What are the diaphragm materials for the diaphragm pressure gauge?

Answer:

Diaphragm pressure gauges are suitable for measuring the pressure or negative pressure of a variety of fluid media which are corrosive, non coagulated or non crystalline. The diaphragm gauge and corrosion resistance can be guaranteed by means of suitable and selected diaphragms, flanges, and gasket gaskets in contact with the measuring medium.Diaphragm material: 0Cr17Ni12Mo2 (316); Fu Jin (Cu30Ni70) Monel Hastelloy; gold; tantalum (H276C) (Ta) and fluorine plastic (F4).Gasket materials: nitrile rubber; fluorine rubber; silicone rubber and fluorine plastic.
Basically oil the following:316L stainless steel, HC/HB (Hastelloy), Ta (TA), Ti (TI), with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), Monel alloy
The biggest advantage of diaphragm pressure gauge is that it can select different diaphragm material according to different corrosion medium, so as to achieve the best corrosion resistance. At present, the diaphragm materials are commonly used tin bronze, SU316 stainless steel, titanium, tantalum, Monel, Hastelloy, PTFE etc..In the use of diaphragm pressure gauge, in addition to correctly select its structure form, the more important thing is to reasonably select the diaphragm diaphragm material. The so-called reasonable is to consider both its corrosion resistance, but also to consider the economy. For example, tantalum sheet and Hastelloy alloy have excellent corrosion resistance, but they are expensive and are only used in corrosive environments where other inexpensive materials are not suitable.
