PE geotechnical membrane is made rom polyethylene raw materials. PVC geotechnical membrane is made of polyvinyl chloride raw material. Domestic projects are now using the former which is environmental-friendly, non-toxic, anti-aging, corrosion resistance, and has developed strict national standards. The latter is rarely produced in China. PVC contains certain toxic chemicals, therefore, water conservancy and environmental protection project does not recommend the application of PVC geotechnical membrane, there does not seem to have the standard requirements of this product.
