For my science course work i am doing food additives and perseratives case study and i wanted to know what are the uses for them? Please help Websites are also exceptable XP!! 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!

basicially, addatives are added to food to make them taste nicer eg. sugar in cereal. & preservatives are added to food so they will keep longer ie. have a longer sell-by date
