Hi everyone,I need to know what I can make out of leftover soft-fried corn tortillasI sometimes fry them for (soft) tacos, but sometimes we have a few leftoverAny recipe ideas for them? Thanks in advance for any ideas you have:)
My daughter is 15 months and still doesn't use a comforterWe co-sleep and she has her own baby blankets that i cover her withI'm still too afraid to use a big comforter, she moves around way too much and that's just too much blanket for me to feel comfortable withI know she would probably be ok, but i'd rather be safe than sorryFor someone as young as your son, i would not use a comforterYou can buy these sleep bags from Carter's, they are awsome! Swaddling also works wellIf you want to use a blanket, i would use a baby blanket instead of a comforter.
My son's also 5 months old, and it's cool in his room too for some reasonI put him to sleep in a long sleeve onsie, a pair of fleece pj's, and a fleece sleep sac(wearable blanket)It's best not to put a blanket on him, but if you do, I would use one that is knitted or crochetted because they have holes in them, so if he pulls it over his face he will be ok.
How do you dress and cover yourself when you go to bed? Bundle him as much as you bundle yourselfA onesie and one of those legless, closed-bottomed bunting bags suitable for indoor wear should suffice, along with a fleece or flannel blanketTouch his skin once in a while to make sure he doesn't feel too warmHe's not as fragile and susceptible to cold as one might thinkBasically just have his crib simulate the environment in your own bed-down to sleepwear and blanket warmthYou can put a warm water bottle in with him to simulate your body heat if needed, but he should be fine.
I live in the north as well - CanadaIt is - 16 C right now and that is warm for herA few days ago it was - 35 CI have a central heating unit (furnace) in my house our home is always 23-24 C in the houseIt's never that cold in our to the point we need to use heavy blanketsIf for some reason the central heater brakes we have a fireplace to heat the houseShe has a standard crib beddingJust a regular crib comforter and her favorite light blanketYou should either get new windows (triple layered) or get them resealed because it would increase the warmth in your house and lower heating costs As long as she is rolling lots and strong enough I would say it would be okayMake sure she has a sleeper (once piece with feet) on not two piece pajamas were all sorts of things are sticking out - usually there tummies Or as the other person said invest into Sleep Sack then no need for heavy blankets Good luck!
Ever try Sonoran enchiladas? Its cheese enchiladas made in a casserole style, by layering the tortillas instead of rolling them In a oven safe dish, add enchilada sauce to coat the bottomThen layer tortillas, cheese, and sauce topping with extra cheeseCover with aluminum foil until the cheese is all bubbly, about 45 minRemove foil and cook for another 5 minRest for 5 and serve with beans and rice or a nice green salad Try adding sauteed onions, chicken or taco meat for different flavors.
