And also, can I just use some kind of glue or adhesive? Sewing is actually some kind of problem and I don‘t know if I can manage hand sewing, especially on a big plush.
lmao.I'm stumped for once! OH! what about the fire sprinklers? lolWAIT! ur already WET! you will be fine.next time don't shower nekked, just in case. BTW have you thought about EARTHQUAKES? lol
Yes. what do you think, they'd wait for you to finish showering?
lol this actually happened to me. you can hear the fire alarm (hopefully you have one) over the water running. Thankfully mine was put out in a hurry so I was able to find clothes before I went outsidethough I did inhale quite a bit of smoke.
Any sturdy cloth that will not stretch out of shape will work, especially for smaller plushes. Rivers made a adult human sized doll out of muslin. It worked. You can use rayon, polyester, cotton, cotton/poly, denim, corduroy, wool, plush, fleece, fake fur, lace over a material, leather, pleather, vinyl, flannel, even utilize old fabrics like an old quilt or a chenille bedspread. Rivers is making a teddy bear out of 100% cotton. Glue or adhesive does not work well on fabric, especially when that something is being stuffed, which will put stress on the seams. Best to sew it. With a machine, which is the sturdiest seam. Hand sewing could be done, but it will take a lot of time, be very tedious, and will not necessarily hold well. And when you find a glue that will stick, it will not necessarily stand up to a washing. Can you not beg or borrow or buy a sewing machine? A lot of people have them sitting around the house, unused, because it was a gift, or they never learned to use it. Rivers has two, a friend has 7, It is so very simple to sew a seam, when the machine is working correctly. Can you sign up for sewing lessons with someone somewhere? Seriously, sewing is something you can use all of your life. A person can save a bundle over a lifetime just knowing enough to make repairs on clothes, never mind being able to do crafts, or toyes, or doll clothes,or Halloween costumes. Sewing baby/children's clothes saves a massive amount of money.
