Question:

What can you do with paint?

I'm helping to plan for a "paint day" at my school as a community service event and need different ideas on how we can use paint. Some ideas we came up with were, paint balloon fight instead a water balloon fight, face painting, a paint obstacle course, hand print mural, and paint darts. We're open to suggestions (just make it a little bit reasonable). and please no rude comments.thank you!

Answer:

paint eat it swim in it skinny dip in it paint faces fake blood
That's cool! How about like a painting contest best painting gets a prize or something. You can get some white t-shirts and you can paint the shirts.
Not sure if there's any difference in weight regarding liquid and dry paint.
Feet Painting Contest Have groups of people (like 4+) paint pictures with their feet on large pieces of paper (10 x 10 foot wide.) Or Actual Size Pictionary Like regular pictionary (people draw, or in this case, paint stuff and other people have to guess what it is) but in this game, the paintings have to be the actual size of what they would be in real life. TIP: try to come up with a list of things ahead of time that are easy to paint and are not overly large, so people don't kill themselves doing it. lol
People could paint pet rocks. You could have educational demos about mixing colors, using paint. If there's enough time before paint day then you could collect entries for a painting contest. If parents or teachers are going to be active, you could offer information on toxic vs non-toxic paints. You could have a painting gallery that people can go through, maybe highlighting different kinds of styles. Acrylic paints have different glazes, some with sand, some for Sculpting with paint- so you could set up a painting studio for kids to experiment with new kinds of paint materials. You could even have kids make their own paint brushes using fabric, feathers, different kinds of sticks, straw, anything you can think of! Good luck and have fun!
