static can usually be solved by adding a softener to your laundry, and/or dryer sheets. For those odd moments where you just are completely and suddenly static-y. using a little water can help, and its probably the easiest and most quick fix. I'm not saying soak yourself, just use a damp paper towel or the like and wipe over the static areas (on YOU, not your clothes). ie: if i have a dress with hose on and i'm static-y, i will run a damp paper towel over my hose and it won't stick anymore.
