If this is a bedroom, you might option for dark pink curtains that closely match your walls, thus making your windows one with the wall. That way, you leave your options open when you select bedding. If a sofa is going in this room, again I would select a solid shade and pick up color in all of my accessory and bedding pieces, rugs, pictures, vases, pillows.
Are the walls staying pink? Is that the color for a bedroom and a living room? ...if you absolutely have to work with that color...why not do white curtains with a black border stripe. For the sofa...how about a contemporary gray color. Bring out pops of color with a throw and toss pillows...and you don't have to stay with all pink theme either. If you want, you can do a light cream color sofa....add pops of greens mixed with tropical hues of pinks and creams for pillows. (That's what I would pick). You can always switch out to browns/pinks for autumnal look when seasons change.
