We just painted our kitchen lime green and we need curtains. My mother (who picked the lime color) said she wants to do put yellow curtains. My sister says that it would look like a sprite kitchen if we did. Would u use the yellow or should we pick a different color?
Some allergists are able to do desensitizations, but I'm not sure if Lime is one of them. I am familiar with the rash- my son get it. We've only had success with good old Benadryl... oral and topical. Even the steroidal creams from the Dr. did no better. We've also found it helps to NOT RUB or touch the dirt that gets on you.. use a towel to knock it off if possible. You should make a recommendation to the league or school that they change from lime to talcum or chalk due to allergen problems. It's worth a shot, especially if you're out on the field a lot.
No one else got to the core of your problem. What you have is called oral allergy syndrome. It is related to your pollen allergies. The only cure is to go to an allergist and have desensitization shots. After being on the shots for several years, your allergy to fruit will probably go away. I used to be allergic to nearly all raw fruits and vegetables before I had allergy shots.
