Question:

What could be wrong with my VCR?

I have a Magnavox DVD/VCR Combo, model DV220MW9, purchased second hand It had recently started making a squeaking noise when playing tapes, rewinding, or fast forwarding. Last night, it began to interfere with playback on some tapes.and then stopping like it was pausing and shutting off, ejecting the tape (thankfully, not eaten) after powering the unit back on. I would put the tape back in, it would start playing, and a freeze frame would appear on the screen for a split second, and the unit would power off entirely, ejecting the cassette (no dangling ends, thankfully) after powering back on. Attempting to rewind or fast forward had the groaning sounds, and then the shutdown a second later.Any idea what could be causing this problem and any solutions? It's not the tapes because I've tried with about four tapes and they all exhibited this problem.

Answer:

That'a a sturdy one! at the same time as a blonde says a dumb blonde funny tale is humorous you recognize its Hilarious! For the record, not now nor have I ever been indignant through those jokes. I belive the real dumb blonde is one which is indignant.
Some of the answers above are not too bad. My addition would be that, with goggles, you can use tear offs for muddy conditions and, they wouldn't work too well with a full face shield. Tear offs being the goggle shaped plastic shields that go over the lenses of the goggles. When they get too dirty to see through, you tear off one and the next one takes over (you put enough on, at the same time, so you can tear them off and have more underneath. Hence the name.).
Yes, it's not that bad. You obviously need to go very slow (like under 2MPH), but you won't have any trouble.
