What did Benjamin Franklin do for America?

anyway it wants through the exterior siding, down a chimney, through a plumbing vent all it wants to do is get to ground by the path of least resistance
There are no such thngs as demons. The black rabbit was lost and hungry and your smoke detectors are faulty, get new ones. I hope you find the owner of the rabbit.
I ride in snow when I know what's underneath. Sure, you'll get the occasional extra fallen limb, but if you go at a reasonable pace you'll be fine. Don't go galloping across fields you don't know. My horses take themselves galloping around their fields all winter. They LOVE it - they kick the snow at each other, they jump into drifts so they're belly deep, they run and buck and rear and kick and just plain old have fun. There's always a danger, but I like to let my horses be horses, and enjoy horse things, and this is one of them. Barefoot or shod, doesn't matter that much. If you shoe them, put pads on to prevent snow packing into balls under the hooves. If they're barefoot, it's rarely a problem. You might want to trim their fetlocks - they can get ice balls dangling off them, which can get surprising large and painful. If you're riding on ICE, that's different. I'd get borium studs. They're hard enough and sharp enough to stop a lot of the ice sliding. Have fun! Edit: I don't think I'd go with the easy boots. The snow'll get packed around the ratchet thing and make his balance all wrong. Plus, I think the flat sole will have less traction in snow than the bare hoof or the steel shoe. The concave nature of the hoof bottom will grip and hold snow (not ice).
