I have an 02 Ford Focus and the sound system sucks. How would I install new speakers? What kind of speakers would I have to get?
Find the dimensions in your speakers. Then you can buy anything that size as long as you buy the right wattage. Then change your radio deck too a high quality one. You will need and adaptor for the radio most likely and a converter.
Your door speakers are 6x8's and any door speakers that you use to replace those factory speakers will be better. I suggest buying speakers that you have heard of such as Kicker, Pioneers, Alpine, Sony or Kenwood. If you really want good sound. JL audio, Hertz, Focal or Rockford Fosgate power series Good Luck
