theres water inside and it gets really hot
what do u do when circulator pump leakin
That you are going to need 10 times more wood than you think. There's nothing like running out in the dead of winter to buy wood. Also you need to clean it out well once a year.
bascally, boilers are a tough one theres is no real way to determine whether something is going to break or when. how it works your boiler heats up water when a certain part of your house calls for heat a circulator pump kicks on and sends hot water through your baseboard or radiators on that loop. always keep an eye on it and periodically check for leaks. especially around where threaded pipe is used. leaks usually leave a white chalky streak around where it is leaking. so look for that. it might not be leaking when you discover it but when the water heats it may expand and start leaking. what you don't want to do is drain the boiler in hopes of cleaning it. it is not a water heater. you want that old nasty water in there. the more fresh water you put in, the more minerals, air and stress you put on your system. i would also suggest a cleaning and inspection from a company every now and again to maintain it usually before winter comes. hope this helps.
