What do you fill a hole in the wall with cement or with putty? And does cement come already mixed?
You can buy stuff to do the job.Ask at your hardware store, they will know exactly what you need.
Is the wall interior or exterior? What's it made of? How big is the hole? How deep is the hole? All these make a difference.
Hummm - generally you use plaster of some kind. Cement is great on older places where you have lath and plaster - but it's only for filling a LOT of holes at once. It's too messy for just a little hole. And no - cement needs to be mixed - and generally you buy it in a HUGE bag. You can get a little container of some plaster or Spackle or something like that from the hardware store. If you really have a hole right through your wall, then you have to shove something in the hole to sort of close it up - like screw a little stick in back of the hole.... then you put some spackle on it several times. Try not to heap up the spackle - just fill the hole and let it shrink - and put some on the next day. sometimes takes three or four coats. This stuff is so easy to fix once you do it for a while - but it's pretty hard to explain it to anybody.
