My cutting-edge one is extra heavy duty then the 1st. Gee 2 sure i like it. user-friendly sufficient to run it on a daily basis and truthfully extra clever to scrub on a normal basis then haul out the enormous vacuum as quickly as each week. Glides from carpet to wood floor to section rugs and ceramic tiles surely. It does tend to chew up the fringe on rugs so I basically have been given rid of those. like it and does no longer do without. possibilities up gravel, cheerios, airborne dirt and mud and tumbleweeds if prefer be
I would love one they look great , could save a lot of work , just have to do corners monthly.
Can't comment on a Roomba, but I have it's brother The Scooba for tile/hard floors and I LOVE it!
Wouldn't recommend them. A friend had one- they don't pick up much. Might be of use if you have a large room with no corners (It's hard to program them for odd sizes) and not much furniture, but if you have that situation how hard is it to just run the vacuum?

We have dogs and cats, so pet hair is a continual problem. Use of the Roomba has helped keep my house looking good daily. (You still have to vacuum some areas where it can't reach, under the bar stools, etc.) I wish I would have bought this years ago! I was skeptical, but desperate to keep up with a shedding puppy. After 2 months of use, I'm very pleased with my Roomba (nicknamed Putzfrau, German for cleaning lady). It does an amazing job even with LOTS of dog hair. I clean it after every use, which takes only a few seconds. It works equally well on hardwood and carpeted areas. It doesn't do as well with the door mats, but does get around furniture and over area rugs. I highly recommend it - a huge time saver. The bottom line is that most people really are impressed with Roomba vacuum cleaners.
