My friend is having a baby and she told me that her boyfriend picked out the name Siloah. It's pronounced like Siloh. What do you think of it? I think it's hideous, but hey if she likes it oh well. I was also wondering if anyone has ever heard that name before.
Whether YOU like the name or not they picked it and it means something to them. Tell them you think it's beautiful and enjoy their smile. When you have a baby you can name it whatever you want.

Siloah sounds like someone trying to say Shiloh with a lisp. Suggest she use the name Shiloh, is it sooo much cuter.
OMG that name is horrible! No no no no no no!!!!!! You need something that can just slide off the tongue easily, and sound beautiful at the same time. Siloah sounds like your a damn hoe. And plus that fact that they just placed a random 'A' makes it sound like a classy stripper name. Might as well name her Candy or Crystal haha.
Does your friend realize that a silo is a large storage bin for animal food? If not point it out to her. Suggest Shiloh instead. Not only is it a prettier name but it is not a storage bin.
