I noticed that a lot of bars and liquor stores around my neighborhood have the copper in their name. (ie Copper Bucket, Copper Lamp, etc.) Can someone fill me in on what, if anything, copper has to do with alcohol?
copper pot stills are the original stills for american whiskey, because they are tempature sensitive they are considered the best. a cooper is someome who makes the barrels alcohol is aged in.
Perhaps it is because most stills are made from copper
more than likely its a local thing
