You can try it, it is cheaper than a rebuild or replacement trannie. Replace or clean the filter screen inside the trans too.gl
the wrong fluid would create a noise in the trans not a slip.
My transmission started to stall in 2nd gear, but after a full flush it shifts perfectly fine now.
