What exactly was AMD Bulldozer supposed to bulldoze?

What exactly was AMD Bulldozer supposed to bulldoze?

Answer:

The AMD Bulldozer just bulldozed AMD.
It was meant to bulldoze dumb AMD fanboys' wallets that bought it
they bulldozed 2 Phenom II X4 840 (aka. Athlon II X4 650) on one heap and sell it now as the latest and greatest :) wasn't it you who said several months ago that you believe the Bulldozer will not even catch up with an i5 Sandy Bridge? it seems you were right!
Not much by the specs, I were looking forward to use them for our rendering farm, building a block of them but after looking closely at the hardware, I think I may stick to the i5 2500k or 2600k instead, cant believe that after almost 3 years they came up with something like this, but for normal desktop users I guess having 8 cores running Windows 7 would be great as Norton or Mcafee normally would take up 7 of the 8 cores anyway for their basic functions.
shows it rivaling 2600k easily, still a good chip, but right now its sitting in the middle of intels best, looks very promising for the new architecture.
