How can we increase the speed of light? Are there any known limits on the speed of light? Will refraction or reflection increase the speed of light?
increase in energy of the photons decrease in mass of photons i dont think tht refraction kud increase the speed of light , altho about relection,if light is relected of a surface tht wud energize the photons then there exisits a possibilty of increase in speed of light.
If light can travel in vacuum, that will increase the speed. limits are gravitational pull from any star or planet. refraction will give a sling shot effect that can increase speed slightly. Reflection can only slows it down. Such as mirror to mirror reflection.
Nothing can increase the speed of light. It is 3x10^8 m/s. Refraction slows it down because that maxium speed of light is in a vacuum. Refraction invoves using another matieral.
The special theory of relativity specifies that the speed of light in vaccuum is 3x10e6 m/s and it is the limit. it cannot exceed this limit. however its speed is slowed down when it passes through any other medium depending on the refractive index of the medium with respect to vaccuum. Reflection does not affect the speed of light, only the intensity.
mild has no mass and no fee, as a result's unaffected via electric fields. the fee of light in a vacuum is the better decrease to the fee of light. attempt making area smaller, letting mild go it and then re-boost area back (a l. a. start up trek warp rigidity)
