On Star Trek TNG, why was Dr. Beverly Crusher missing for some episodes? She was replaced by a different doctor but came back a season later. Thanks
If I remember correctly, that was the year she went back and taught at Star Fleet Academy. It's been a long time, but I'm pretty sure that was it. I definitely know it had to do with another job.
Dr. Beverly Crusher left the Enterprise for a year to fill the head position at Starfleet Medical. She was replaced by Dr. Katherine Pulaski.
She had her baby. Look back at previous episodes and notice she was always in a smock to cover up her pregnancy.
