i had a lot of hamster and they are keep on dying. i got one yesterday and it was keep on biting the plastic once i let it out. is it the plastic that is killing it.
Ok, let's start with the plastic... if it's a itty bitty, little piece of plastic, it will be pooped out - no worries. If it's a lot of plastic, it can block up his/her intestines and he/she could die. So how much plastic are we talking about? Now how long do you have a hamster before they die? If it's less than a year or two: - I suggest you either find another critter to get as a pet, - or stop getting your pets from where you are, - or learn how to properly care for them if that's the problem, - or all of the above.
Well, if it's a TINY LITTLE BIT of plastic, he'll be okay. My hamster bites on her cage bars every night, and she bites the white paint off so now the bars are gray-and-white-stained, and she's fine. Hamsters poop out tiny little bits of things. But if it's a LOT of plastic, your hamster's intestines will be blocked-up, and he will probably die. Sorry. :( I suggest that you get him a wire/metal-bar cage. That's what my hamster has, and there are absolutely NO problems!!! :) Plus, my old hamster used to bite the plastic, too, and it would get all frayed and stuff, and she would escape. :( So, yeah. I recommend a metal cage. Your hamster won't have the chance to eat plastic, and.... voila!!! :) He'll be okay!!! :)
Put a question mark (?) at the end of a question please. And its possible that it is the plastic, but more likely somthing you are doing with/to it.
