A qwerty keyboard is a keyboard [just like the one you're typing on]. If you look on the first row of letters on your keyboard, you'll see the word QWERTY. Neat,eh? (
The nokia e71 has a qwerty keyboard. some touchscreen telephones such because of the fact the lg ku990 viewty have digital pop up qwerty keyboards. different handsets with slideout qwerty keyboards are htc tytn II that is declared as something else on different networks. the assorted xda handsets from o2 have qwerty keyboards. yet another type is the lg ks360 obtainable on orange and o2.
It's the typewriter keyboard. It begins with the letters QWERTY in the top left corner. The letters on the top row are the letters of the word TYPEWRITER and QU. This is supposed to be so that shop assistants could find the necessary letters and demonstrate the typewriter by typing the word TYPEWRITER. It is also sometimes said that letters which often come together in written English are separated on the keyboard so that the typebars did not hit each other and jam, but since the most common digraph in English is TH and the letters T and H are close together on the keyboard, I'm not sure I believe that one.
A QWERTY keyboard is a computer-style keyboard with individual keys for individual letters. Most (older) phones have the standard keypad with groups of three letters on 1 key.
