Question:

what is a symbian mobile phone?

i heard that nokia 5233 is a symbian mobile phone so i want to know whats the meaning of symbian mobile phone?

Answer:

as you know that computers have operating system. mobiles also have operating system. symbian is a mobile OS mainly in nokia mobile phones. Mobiles with symbian os are called symbian mobile phones other OS are 1. windows mobile( samsung) 2. android ( htc, etc) etc
There is no pdf reader available for Symbian S40.
Symbian is the operating system used by Nokia smart phones. S60 is the better one with all smartphone capabilities like (Nokia N97, Nokia 5800 Nokia E71) and S60 is the cheaper version of symbian which is very limited like (Nokia 5300, Nokia 5310)
Symbian is an operating system (like Windows, Linux, ) specially designed for use on mobile phones. Nokia is using this OS on their smartphone range, but Sony Ericsson and Samsung do this as well (to some extent). Symbian OS was available with additional UI layers under the name UIQ and S60. Sony Ericsson and Motorola used UIQ and Nokia and Samsung used S60. This days UIQ does not exist anymore and all companies creating phones running Symbian OS use Nokia's S60, now known only under the Symbian name. Nokia produces also cheap feature phones, using their own proprietary software platforms, known as Series 40 and Series 30. Series 40 phones do support Java applications but they do not have a fully featured OS and have no connection with Symbian, although some tend to call it S40 and then kind of confuse it with S60, they really have nothing in common. Series 30 also has no Symbian connection and these phones, the cheapest ones Nokia sells, do not support any additional applications.
It has an advanced OS in it
