It is great to see that one (Richard) out of the other three answerers knows that cement and concrete are not the same thing. All of the suggested things that can be made out of concrete are accurate, except for the suggestion of cement patios. (There is no such thing as a cement patios or sidewalks even in Tenn.) The only thing that is made out of cement is concrete which also needs small and large aggregates, sometimes additives and water. For those of you that want to say cement is also used for brick and block mortar, wrong again, that is not cement they are adding. It is really rather easy to remember, cement is soft, concrete is hard.
