Question:

What is considered a good score in the NCAA brackets?

I filled out a bracket but had NO idea what I was doing. What is considered an ok score? a really good score? a horrible score? Could someone make a list of how good different ranges could be? Such as:x number to x number: Great Scorex number to x number: Good Scoreect. Thanks so much!

Answer:

A good score is that at least 75% of your Final Four are still in it. A bad is 25% or none of your Final Four are still in it.
Let's take a bracket with traditional scoring- 1 pt for first round, 2pts for round two, etc. At this point, you'd want to have around 90 points to be in serious contention to win your pool. That would be about 28 to 29 first round wins, 13 to 14 second round, 7 in the final eight, and 3 or 4 of the final four, Having the whole final four this year was not hard.
