Full Bore ball vale and Reduce bore ball valve have diferent with each other ,I want to know about them.
This Site Might Help You. RE: what is diferent between FB ball valve and RB ball valve? Full Bore ball vale and Reduce bore ball valve have diferent with each other ,I want to know about them.
1. Ball valves are generally more expensive than butterfly valves. 2. Ball valves use a face seal, butterfly valves (usually) use an edge seal. 3. Ball valves can be rated up to Class 2500 (42.5MPa), butterfly valves are rarely used above Class 150 (2MPa). 4. Ball valves can seal on two faces and can be double block and bleed for positive bubble-tight sealing, butterfly valves have a single seal and can never be assumed to be bubble-tight.
Ok, so, a Full Bore (Full Port) ball valve basically will have the same size bore opening as the pipe connection. For example, if you have a 2 ball valve connected to a 2 pipeline, a full-port (full bore) ball valve will also have a 2 opening. This allows for the maximum flow of the media being processed through the valve. Conversely, a reduced bore (standard port) ball valve, will restrict the flow of the media passing through the valve. If you looked through the valve opening, you will actually see the bore of the ball is smaller in diameter than the rest of the valve itself.
