What is it? What is it? What kind of milling methods are used in actual production? why?

Answer:

When the direction of rotation of the cutter and the workpiece feed the same direction is called the milling.
The power consumption of the milling is smaller than that of the reverse milling. Under the same cutting conditions, the power consumption of the milling is 5% ~ 15% lower, and the milling is more favorable for chip removal.
The direction of rotation of the cutter is opposite to that of the workpiece feed, called reverse milling.
Milling, according to the direction of rotation of the milling cutter and cutting the relationship between the feed direction, can be divided into two kinds of milling and reverse milling.
