Im in the process of sealing the quot;Leakquot; Im Flushin the Radiator, letting it cool down now(It REALLY Holds heat, it seems?) I dont know if the quot;Leakquot; was A LEAK or Normal (quot;Smokequot; in Expansion tank,) but im wonderign what the Radiator is made out of.The Coolant is ALMOST running Clear, you are right it was a VERY dirty Radiator.I have an Automatic Transmission, the water is about to be 100% in there, is the Radiator STEEL or ALUMINUM?And what hapens if you leave either 100% WATER in the Radiator, OR only put in like 33% Coolant as opposed to 50/50? And what is my Cooling system's TOTAL Capacity? Thanks!(Im being VERY careful to NOT put COLD water on HOT Radiator.)
the radiator itself is aluminum but the sides are probably plasticuse some jb weld on ityou can flush it with plain water and use 50/50 anti-freeze.
