What is the base material of semi-rigid base course?
The flexible base has Asphalt Stabilization and granular materials. Asphalt stabilized asphalt stabilized macadam (including ATB), open graded drainage asphalt macadam (ATPB), semi open graded asphalt macadam (AM). Granular aggregate is usually broken stone base, and can be divided into two types, crowded and dense type. The crowded type includes clay stone, marl aggregate and interstitial gravel, and dense type includes graded crushed stone and graded gravel. There is currently a composite base, the composite base is the use of rigid flexible and economic base, such as for the basic gradation gravel and flexible base with cement stabilized macadam semi-rigid, mainly to prevent reflection crack like.
Rigid base means the pavement base paved with ordinary concrete, rolled concrete, lean concrete, reinforced concrete and continuous reinforced concrete.Semi rigid base is divided into three categories: cement stabilized; lime stabilization; industrial waste stabilized, the corresponding fine soil cement stabilized gravel and cement stabilized gravel and cement stabilized gravel; lime and lime stabilized gravel and lime stabilized soil; lime fly ash, lime fly ash soil, lime fly ash sand fly ash, lime sand, lime flyash gravel, lime fly ash slag, lime fly ash and coal gangue.
The pavement is divided into three categories: rigid, semi-rigid and flexible base, subbase materials and basic similar, mainly cement, lime content is low or the small size of some of the soil, such as sand and gravel.
The materials are classified into cement stabilized and lime stabilized, usually with cement stabilized soil (gravel, crushed stone), lime stabilized soil (gravel, crushed stone) and lime industrial waste residue stabilized soil (gravel, gravel).
