i just made my first banana nut bread and i want to keep it fresh for my husband in the morningCan i store it in a glass container and leave it out? or bad idea? i don't want it to be cold i want it to remain fresh and moist :)
I usually double wrap it in aluminum foil; our banana breads generally don't last for more than a day or two, so long term storage is never necessaryA large Ziploc bag will also work, as will a Tupperware or Rubbermaid food storage container, but sometimes the bread becomes a little too soft on the outside of the bread when it's in a container that's completely airtightThe bread can become a little mushyMake sure the bread is completely cool before you wrap it/put it in a containerHappy Baking! ~ Maria
