My dog Louie is very sick. Hes 22 years old now and has I dont think hes long for this world. He has osteoarthritis and hes in so much pain that he needs to be put down.I dont want a vet to do it though. Me and Louie have been together for so long that i want to be the one to put him out of the awful misery hes going through. It breaks my heart, but i want to know how to do it so he goes through the least amount of pain.I have a few ideas in mind now. I live on a farm, so I have a hay baler that I could put him through. I also have a chainsaw I could use, or I could run over his head with my tractor so it would be quick and painless. I was also thinking that I could take him up on top of my grain silo (about 100 feet high) and throw him off. I dont know if anyone has experience with this kind of thing, but any advice would be appreciated. You will be missed Louie :(
If you really want to put your dog down in the best way possible just get him drunk as **** until he dies.
Are you for real a 22 year old dog ? That you supposedly care for that you want to die in agony and fear. Take Him too a vet and get him put to sleep
Okay I'm honesty not sure if you're joking or not. Nevertheless, putting him to sleep IS quick in painless, they usually do it by by gas, in which he breathes and falls asleep...for good. Also they would just give him a quick shot with a needle and he would die peacefully like that. A lot less painfully then running him over with a tractor, dropping him from 100 foot silo, or chopping him to death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also when they put him to sleep you can be in the room too. Just don't do it yourself in any way shape or form .
