I'am trying to put an aftermarket stereo in my 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT SWB. It does not have an amp that I can find, but it does have Onstar, which I can go without. Does Anybody know anything about Bypassing. I've bypassed my amp on my 02 Avalanche n everything works just fine. I dont want to spend the extra money on a lil plastic piece if I can Bypass.

I know you have onstar, but if you tell them that, they'll most likely get confused and tell you that you cant do it. Trust me, it works, I've been an installer now for over 15 years now. Just to be sure, sometimes there is an amp in your car, (even though you checked) so if you get the harness home, and your not getting sound, make sure you hook up your amp turn on (remote, rem) to see if you can power through the amp.
