What is the difference between resin and acrylic material?

Answer:

PMMA is thermoplastic and produced by injection molding machines. Acrylic is also called PMMA or sub afterburner. All in English acrylic Chinese name, translation is actually organic glass. The chemical name is polymethyl methacrylate. Hongkong people call the more strength, is a development of earlier thermal plastic, with transparency, chemical stability and good weathering resistance, easy to dye, easy processing, beautiful appearance, is widely used in the construction industry. Plexiglass products can usually be divided into pouring plates, extrusion plates and molding plastics. MMA has a lower melting point: the melting point of PMMA is about 130 - 140 degrees C (265 - 285 degrees F), much lower than that of glass, which is about 1000 degrees high.
Usually, polyester polycondensation reaction was carried out in 190 to 220 DEG C, until it reaches the expected value (or viscosity), the polyester shrinkage after the reaction, while vinyl monomer adding a certain amount of heat, with a viscous liquid, such as polymer solution called unsaturated polyester. The thermal deformation temperature of most unsaturated polyester resins is 50~60 degrees centigrade.
The resin is unsaturated polyester resin and belongs to thermosetting plastics. Produced by liquid resin and hardener. Unsaturated polyester resin is generally with ester bond and unsaturated polymeric compound from unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or unsaturated dicarboxylic acid diol diol condensed.
