I would open an account in which to place the lottery winnings. Then I would withdraw about one fourth of the monies there for my personal use. The rest would be left in place for whatever state and federal taxes had to be paid to Uncle Sam. This way, I wouldn't be impeded in purchasing what I wished. The first thing that I would do, would be to open accounts for all of those in my immediate family. Then I would be about $20,000 in each account for their expenditures. I would take a leisurely trip for about two weeks to Disney World and take whatever family members wanted to come along. It would be as though I were a kid again. After returning home, I would help my other relatives, neighbors and folk in my city, who needed assistance with money. That is the way I would do it if everything was normal. Since that is not the case presently, I would send my first money to the people in Haiti and Chile. I certainly wouldn't be able to go on any vacation before helping them after such a disaster. I would send them $20,000 and more than that after I knew what was left after my taxes were paid. Peace!

A new, used double wide trailer, drill a well for water (tired of hauling it from the neighbor's), a tiller for the garden (my donkey and plow are about worn out), an above ground pool (my cement pond is dried up), some artificial flowers for the flower beds, green outdoor carpet to put in the yard so I don't have to mow this spring and summer, go shopping for clothes at the 5 and Dime, and buy me a new pair of sneakers that don't have holes in them! Yee-Haw - I would be living high on the hog.
A bulldozer. I've wanted one for years. Almost bought a used one a few years ago. SHould have done it when I had the money!
