Question:

What is the highest occupied energy level in an Aluminum atom?

A1st energy level B2nd energy level C3rd energy level D4th energy level

Answer:

Thermal insulation is often used as sound batts, but there are products that are specifically designed as sound battsI would assume that they would work a little better than just thermal insulationYou can also double layer the drywall to give added sound barrier.
Hello, That will help, I always put an R-30 between my floors when I build so you can't hear much at all The biggest trick to noise reduction is overlaps of products and differing layers as that these things by overlapping and varying in thickness will act to deaden with each layer For example in a indoor movie theatre they will fill 12 block walls with sand and then each auditorium wall gets 2 to 3 layers of sheet rockIf they are smart, the layers will be 1/2 then 5/8 then 1/2 again with a dead air space or insulation between each one Well that's how we do itIn an attic , blow hard - because cellulose will settle and you don't want air space to be able to capture moisture , so pack it tight Best Regards, Joe Woodall, Managing Partner Georgia Adobe Rammed Earth And Renewable Energy Dewy Rose Georgia 30634
I agree with ThorIn my townhouse condo, it was the party wall noise that was an issueThe neighbors to the side weren't loud but you could hear every little thingI had cellulose insulation blown into the walls, and it did help a little, but not very muchThe common structural elements continue to transmit the noiseIn better construction there is more effort to keep noise transmitting connections down - going in after the fact to try and resolve the existing situation with insulation doesn't make up for poor construction, unfortunately.
Electron shells or energy level of atoms can hold different number of electrons 1st holds 2, 2nd holds 8 and the 3rd also holds 8Aluminium has 13 electrons (look at periodic table), so the first 2 shells is filled up whilst 3 more occupy the 3rd energy levelSo it will go 2,8,3So the second energy level will me highest occupied with 8 electrons.
