i used to do the same thing when i was little. What i would do is put on head phones and then put an entire blanket over me and my tv and when they walk in they cant see. make sure you dim the monitor tholol
You chose to live in a community with a governing body. Pay for it and live with it. Or, move out. I live in the country because I do not want others activities to bother me. I do not care what my neighbohrs do. They should not concern themselves with me. Now this is a happy community. HOA's PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally will tell you to contact a qualified repair technician as they know exactly what they are doing and what they are looking at. If you dont , you may do more damage than there already is and therefor it will only become more expensive to get fixed. My professional opinion is to take it to a repair technician.
For your sake they are not allowing you to play games , one problem is addiction if you are too much addicted creates severe mental problems , also affects your eyesight also leads to head ache to prevent all these they are not allowing , When i say from your side , try to avoid sound while playing games , use head phones to hear sounds and light from the computer screen might know them you are playing , try to change monitor position , some times they woke up they will check your sleeping position parents do usually , you can't block their activities , another thing is you can use your web cam like a cctv and if u kept in bathroom you can analyse their activity :)
