What is the procedure for turning on a boiler that heats radiant heaters - to turn on for the winter.?

Answer:

if it's a gas-fired boiler, call the gasman..... otherwise, call a service tech for your boiler's brand name.... there's no 'one way' to do this stuff.... and if you don't know how, you can really screw up... so call the appropriate person, then WATCH and learn..... next time, if you remember how, then you can do it..... but not this time...
with any boiler there is a power switch. make sure it is in make sure the breaker is on.. make sure there is water pressure in the system usually 12 psi. raise the thermostst and the boiler should fire off. give it some time and the circulator pump will kick in pump heat thru the system at this point see that all the rads get hot. if not you may have to bleed out any air trapped in the system.
